Thursday’s Thoughts

I am still fighting this back problem, so I have not be able to sit for any extended periods of time to write the post. I hope to be improved in a couple of weeks but I will not be posting everyday as in the past. Sorry!

Goodguys was last weekend and you can see some great photos by Ken Leonard on his website. Google his name and you can find it. He takes wonderful pictures.

The 33 Roadster project is at a standstill until I am able to work again. I may have Donnie finish it and get it running. My goal is to drive it to Father’s Day in Pomona. Wish me luck.

Keeping it short, be sure you look at this month’s Rodders Journal for a great article on Ohio Hot Rods. Bill Metz, Larry Henderson, Charlie Jenkins and Barry Lobeck are featured with their toys. Excellent write up. Lobeck’s maroon roadster is my all time favorite and Bruce should have restored it like Barry built it. Personal opinion.

Lets look at some cars.

Stay Tooned!

I have received a lot of questions about this car.  I shot this picture at last years roadster show but did not meet the owner.  I think I saw the car in a recent magazine, but I can’t recall.  Phaetons look cool with no fenders.  Does anyone know the builder?

Bruce Meyer has purchased Larry’s Super 3 window to add to his extensive collection. He has them all!

Lou’s very fine 5 window in Idaho. Lou has some very cars in his collection. This car came from CA a few year ago.

Aussie 34 hiboy. I like this look.

Pewsgarage … center doors. The neighbors love to come look. The view never changes. Soon they will roll out and be masterpieces. I have two more doors with projects and lots of parts. More tomorrow….maybe…therapy today.

Someone sent me this SO-CAL 5 window and I keep wondering what a tudor would look like with the scheme. I will give Thom Taylor a call and see if he has any sketches. He has sketches of everything.
