What a week. I went to the SEMA show in Las Vegas and was overwhelmed by the number of people and cars. I have not been to the show for 3 years and believe me it has really become a monster. I could not get through the cars parked in front of the Convention Center in one day. They had show cars and parts for everyones taste. Hot Rods, Street Rods, Muscle cars, Foreign cars, you name it and they had one for you to view. Inside pictures were difficult with my camera, but I did manage to get some shots to turn out. My friend, Max, a professional photographer took most of the pictures which he will send me today.
I also attended the Hot Rod Alliance award ceremony and saw several old friends that I had not seen in a long time. Troy Ladd, of Hollywood Hot Rods, won Goodguys Trendsetter of the Year Award. You will hear more about Troy in the years to come. He is a young businessman with a bright future. I have featured his work on my site. Joe Mayall, also received an award for his dedication the Industry for many years. Joe is a very modest individual with a lot of talent. Joe is the editor of Streetscene Magazine and a hands on street rod builder. Joe is also a “lunch bunch” regular. Congratulations Joe.
The show is worth the effort and should be a must attend for all automotive enthusiasts. Here are some photos.
Have a great Weekend!

Troy’s new 40 Ford convertible. Not my style, but truly a work of art. $$$$$$$$$$$[singlepic=544]
Possie’s new Rat roadster pickup. Very well done…20 inch Dayton wire wheels and Coker tires.[singlepic=545]
Rear view of Roadster. Driven to SEMA with the Dirty Tour.[singlepic=546]
NSRA 2008 Giveaway car. I fell in love with the colors used on this car. I want to win this one for my wife.[singlepic=547]
Aircraft bucket seats were everywhere. As a bad back sufferer, I don’t think I can use these. This roadster was all aluminum…everything![singlepic=548]
O.K. so it is not old, but should be a hit when introduced. GM’s new Camaro.[singlepic=549]
Dayton/Coker tire display. 37 Phaeton was part of the “Dirty Tour” Flathead and Tremec 5 speed. COOL!
