I love Quick Changes in a hot rod. The looks is second to none and why build a roadster without one. I have fooled around with these units for 30 years and find them fascinating to work with. I purchased my first one from Bill Metz and never looked back. I prefer the Halibrand Champ with early Ford side bells, but the Winters is the one to use today. Halibrand has gone away in my mind due to the many changes in ownership and the poor quality castings that have been produced. Roy Brizio installs a lot of Quick Changes and I take pictures each year at his open house. Have a look.
