For the last twenty five years I have been going to the Forty Ford Day at LaPalma Park in Orange County. The Forties Limited of Orange County do a wonderful job of attracting some of the best 1940 Fords in Los Angeles. This is the show not to miss if you like Forty Fords. The turnout was one of the best ever with over 200 Forties. The show allows any type of car but separates the Forties for viewing and judging. All the trophies are hand made by the club members and are worth viewing. I like them all, but this year coupes and convertibles were in abundance. Here is the top coupe built by Jim Daleco a prolific builder who builds one a year in his home garage.
