Monday’s Recap

Great weekend in LA for Hot Rods. The weather was perfect, a little hot at 90 plus, but certainly roadster time.  Pass the Sunscreen please.  B&M, of transmission fame, had an open house that attracted many cars and racers. Dave McClellan, of NHRA fame, was the MC and did his usual fine job. This will be a must attend for me from now on. I like race cars and race car oriented construction techniques.

Have a look some traditional cars… most with blowers.

Stay tooned!

B&M building in Chatsworth. This is a huge facility that was open for inspection.

55 post on a trailer, blower, prostreet, mega buck car. Trailers are mandatory for these beauties. It never got off the trailer while I was there. ????????

Chopped 51 Mercury ….best of show custom.

Blown 32 deuce with lots of Bling.

Yellow 32 RPU with unique frame from Hot Rods & Custom Stuff in San Diego. Lots of Bling also.  More and more people are building these.

Very nice red 40 coupe with a super stance. Painted steelies looked great.

Ken’s 36 delivery built by Fred’s in Simi Valley. This matches my neighbors 41 delivery. Very nice car.
