The LA Roadster Show is coming soon and I must get all of my junk ready to transport to the fairgrounds. I do this each year and usually sell out by Saturday noon. I then spend the rest of the day buying more junk. You can find just about anything you want if you really look. Prices are sometimes very high and then.. there is the treasure you have been looking for at a price you can afford. Rule number one is purchase it on the spot and always pick it up before asking the price or someone will beat you to the draw. How do I know this? Many times I have not picked up the part and the crowd always jumps on the part once the price is quoted. Don’t ever go to the next row and come back as it will be gone if priced right.
Enough of my secrets, lets talk about roadsters for the next couple of weeks with some sedans and 40 coupes thrown in for variety.
Here are some to view.
My new favorite this week is the Washburn SO-CAL built highboy. I love the look and the top.[singlepic=1145]
Nice Gabe’s interior in the copper 32 at this years GNRS. Super color interior for me.[singlepic=1146]
Full view of Kirk Whites 33 hiboy. I hope it is at the show.[singlepic=1148]
Nice modern day Deuce at Bakersfield. Every store bought item available installed on this car. Came out nice.[singlepic=1149]
Bakersfield 34 full fendered with DuVall windshield installed. Car was in for some pinstriping. Has the look.[singlepic=1150]
Richard Lacy’s 34 Rat that he has owned for a long time. Someday maybe painted to match his 34 sedan delivery.
John’s long time Deuce with lots of Patina and the real deal. He has owned lots of cars, but this one stays with him. This is the look many are copying today. His is the real deal and has looked like this for many, many years. Keep it up John.
