I have been very busy working on the roadster frame and “Murphy’s Law” was in effect the whole time. My trusty TIG welder which I have owned over 25 years finally decided not to work, or so I thought. It turns out after two days of replacing items, that rusty brown spots are caused by inadequate gas shielding to protect the weld puddle. The problem was a hole in the gas line that was covered with a shield common on TIG cables. Now that the problem has been fixed, I can go back to work on Monday. The weekend is booked for the Woody show in Wavecrest and the Outriders Picnic on Sunday. I hope to get the frame for the roadster painted next week so stay tuned for the final results.
Have a good weekend and enjoy your Street Rod, Hot Rod or Rat Rod.
Stay tooned!
