The rain has prevented some of us from driving our Hot Rods but plans to clear up today. Driving a roadster in the rain is no fun especially if it is cold. Heavy rain gear helps but the car suffers if the rain last the entire trip. We don’t have much rain in California but when it does, it pours. A top helps as do side curtains, but there is nothing like a closed car for raining days.
The San Luis Roadsters are holding their event this weekend so I hope the rain doesn’t spoil their activities for the attendee’s. Many will leave their roadsters up the coast for the next weekend roadster event. I do agree that roadsters owners have more fun with their cars than anyone else. Woodie owners are a close second. Many own both types for the best of both worlds.
Work continues at Pewsplace making necessary repairs to the cars for the summer touring. Our next big adventure will be to Ojai for some beautiful scenery, good food and some delicious ice cream. Plan your summer well and don’t forget about the Deuces on 101 show in Buellton.

Stay Tooned!
