Friday’s Finale

Today will be the last post for this year. I am going to take a vacation for the remainder of the year and be with my family. It has been a great year for Pewsplace featuring some of the nicest hot rods and customs from around the world. I want to thank all of my viewers who sent in their project photos and kept me going full time. I seem to be able to feature some of the cars that most everyone like and maybe find helpful in building their dream hot rod. My angel is by my side each time I sit down to write a blog. I normally just compose my comments after looking at my itinerary and the photos I receive. I use both my photos, photos from the internet and other personal sources. I try to give credit for the photo if I know who took it but most of the time I have no idea who the photographer was. You can use any of the photos on my site you wish to. To copy just click on the photo and make a copy for your files. I see my photos all over the place and people are sharing them on Facebook, Instagram and emails. I am retired and just enjoy writing about old Fords.

Have a wonderful Holiday Season with family and friends. I will be back in January with more stories about old Fords and the trips my wife and I take ” Living the Dream” on the West Coast.

Stay Tooned!

Happy Holidays

08 Roadster Front

The mystery car was built by Gary Mussman at Cornhuskers and sold to the Japanese person who did the transformation shown above.

Lower than most in the rear –  Roy learned how to get the rear end down by raising the wheel wells.

Lucy found a new home and was transformed into a Rod & Custom feature car. Thanks to Terry and his crew.

This Bad Boy is ready for some street action with the high torque of the nailhead and the heavy right foot of the owner.

Custom Auto in Loveland builds my kind of cars. A sedan for all seasons would be perfect for me.

A nice 5-window would work also. They took just a little bit off the top to make it stand out in the crowd.

Bruce has a nice collection of Deuce shells on his walls. He also has a nice collection of Deuces he built.

If you own a Deuce coupe you also need the matching garage mate roadster to keep peace in the family.

Boyd and Vern left us too early but their influence on the smooth look will long be remembered.

Christmas Special – Day 4

Steadfast built my favorite sedan and received many accolades from the big boys. Henry has the eye and talent to execute the overall style of the iconic Deuce.
